My genealogy research has centered
around three different areas. My wife's ancestors (Fishburne,
Bellinger, Holton, Carmichael), my ancestors (Patterson,
Stephens, Davis, Langley), and certain families of Stokes
County, NC. I am also very interested in Biblical
genealogies, and am starting to develop that part of my website,
as well. In 2000 I was able to link my mother's ancestors to the
royal families of Europe for the first time. This is through her
Langley line. The royal families of Europe can be traced through
multiple lines back to the Biblical genealogies, most commonly
back to Judah, son of Jacob (Israel). In June of this year (2001)
I was able to trace a line of my wife's ancestors back to the
Biblical lines as well, through her Fishburne side. And then in
July (2001) I was able to connect my dad's ancestors (Stephens)
back to the Biblical lines, also.
I have not yet updated the ancestor
genealogy reports (below) for "Ginna Fishburne" and "Francis
Oliver Patterson" to reflect the recent discovery of the ancient
lines. For Ginna's line, the ancestor that can be traced back is
Burnaby Bull. For Francis Patterson, the ancestor that can be traced
back is Millie Ratcliff.

The following four reports are "ancestor
reports". Each report begins with a specific person and
lists all of that person's ancestors in my database. If there are
more than 99 generations (which there are in some cases), the generations
higher than 99 will not be on this report. The name that is hyper
linked is the "starting point person" in each report:
- Fishburne-Holton Lines: Ginna
Fishburne (Patterson) - my wife (we were married in 1997).
- Patterson-Stephens Lines: Francis
Oliver Patterson - my father.
- Davis-Langley Lines: Vanza
Davis (Patterson) - my mother; connects to the royal
families of Europe and Biblical genealogies.
The following table lists the different
families covered under each area of research described above.
